The Program:
A Path to Healing and A Bridge to Wellness is specifically designed to enhance the lives of those affected by cancer. One Cancer Survivor who strongly believes that her success in battling cancer and all of the physical and mental stress associated with it was minimized by her continued commitment to a physical exercise and wellness program spearheaded the Program. To support her idea, a group of individuals, including an Oncologist, a Massage Therapist, and an Exercise Specialist, were brought together to develop what is now an Oncology Wellness Program known as A Path to Healing and a Bridge to Wellness. The purpose of A Path to Healing and a Bridge to Wellness program is to allow cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers to focus on healing the mind, body, and spirit by offering classes specifically designed for transformation.

BEDFORD COUNTY HAS ESTABLISHED THAT APRIL SHOULD BE DESIGNATED AS APPLE BLOSSOM MONTH

WITH ALL THE BLOSSOMS IN THE SPRING, WHAT BETTER WAY TO CELEBRATE
A RENEWAL OF HUMAN LIFE AND ACTIVITIES.

TRAVERSE THE VALLEY FILLED WITH BLOSSOMS AT THE FOOT OF THE BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS. THERE WILL BE SOME BRIDGES AND STREAMS TO CROSS AND LOTS OF FARM ANIMALS TO SEE IN THEIR PASTURES WITH THEIR NEW BORN BABIES.

BUT MOSTLY IT WILL BE A WONDERFUL SPRING FILLED BREATH OF FRESH AIR. THE COMPETITORS WILL NOT ONLY FEEL AND SEE THE WONDERFUL RENEWAL OF SPRING, BUT WILL KNOW THAT THEIR ENTRANCE FEE WILL HELP CANCER VICTIMS  FEEL THAT RENEWAL OF SPRING IN THEIR LIFE.
