Head Under the Sea with Ariel, Prince Eric, Sebastian, and other beloved characters from Disney’s The Little Mermaid, March 29 - April 2.

Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is the story of a Mermaid princess in a magical underwater kingdom who longs to visit the human world. In hopes of finding love on dry land, rebellious Ariel finds herself in hot water when she strikes a deal with the Sea-witch Ursula. The Little Mermaid has been one of Disney’s most beloved animated films since its release in 1989 and Ariel’s adventures are sure to continue delighting children and adults alike with the E.C. Glass Theatre production!

Although this is the first time E.C. Glass Theatre has produced Disney’s The Little Mermaid, the role of Ursula the Seawitch was portrayed on Broadway by E. C. Glass Theatre alumni and Tony Award winner, Faith Prince, who stepped into the role in 2009.

With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible music. Sing along with songs you know and love including “Under the Sea”, “Kiss the Girl”, and “Part of Your World”. Fall in love with songs only in the musical like “If Only” and “She’s in Love.”

Tickets are available on-line at www.ecglasstheatre.org/box-office or at Bloom by Doyle’s, 4925 Boonsboro Road,. or Givens Books Little Dickens, 2236 Lakeside Drive. Tickets go on sale one hour before each performance at the EC Glass Box Office.
