NEW DATE TBA
At Amherst PresbyterianChurch

Tracy Cowart, mezzo-soprano and harp; Elena Mulklins, soprano and percussion,; Sian Ricketts, soprano and recorders; David McCormick, vielle; and Niccolo Seligmann, vielle and percussion. Guest composer and keyboard: Elliot Cole.
Alkemie joins forces with composer/performeer Elliot Cole in performancs of new arrangements of stunning music from 14th-century Italy and newly-composed repertoire inspired by the medieval bestiary. Vieles, harp, recorders, percussion and voices evoke soaring birds, slithering reptiles, wondrous creatures, and the goddesses Diana and Venus. Serving as both mythology and Christioan allegory, these fantastic visions of the animal kingdom contine to provoke the modern as well as the medieval imagination.
Meet the Artists Reception follows the concert.
