Monday, August 27 at 7:00 p.m.
Jubilee Family Development Center
1512 Florida Avenue, Lynchburg
We want to collect stories from Lynchburg citizens who have experienced some
form of Racial Profiling in Lynchburg. We realize that when people think
of racial profiling they automatically think of police, but it can include other
institutions: schools (primary, secondary, and higher ed); services (local
businesses); employment (any company or business in the community); etc.
There will be a brief presentation at the begining on racial profiling,
a time for sharing stories, and a survey to gather information on Racial
Profiling to be used for future discussions or workshops.
For more information contact Virgil Moore at 213-5626, or 226-0089,
